Concert:
St Mary’s Church

Paul Jones, (the lead singer in Manfred Mann), and his wife Fiona Hendley opened the festival by performing in a concert at St Mary’s Church, Appledore to open the Appledore Christian Music Festival!
Musical: Wildfire
St Mary’s Church
Many singers and musicians of different abilites joined together to create a wonderful production of Roger Jones’ musical Wildfire.

Prayer
Support for this festival can be found in many ways; through financial contributions, through voluntering and donating, however, we recognise that without prayer it would not enable people to be blessed in their faith journeys. Times of prayer were therefore included in the programme.
Oakville Singers
Once again the Oakville Singers provided some really great choral music including the Hallelujah Chorus at the last concert on the sunday afternoon.
Contemporary worship:
Sanctuary Worship Circle
Baptist Church
Once again the Sanctuary Worship Circle led our late evening gathering with musicians and singers from churches across North Devon. Whilst last year it was a bit ‘high octane’ this year was a bit more ‘unplugged’.

Crazy Science Show:
Duggie Dug Dug
Baptist Church

Led by Doug Horley who has a national and international ministry working with children and song writing, Doug and his crazy assistants led a 90 minute concert full of songs, puppets with some really fun and jaw-dropping experiments using dry ice and other chemicals to explore energy, gases and the power of air.
Songs of Praise:
Baptist Church
This event is held at the Baptist Church on a few occasions during the year and is always popular. As usual folk joined together to sing familiar hymns and songs, often at the top of their voices whilst Ruth explained some of the origins and stories that led to them being written.

Campanology Workshop:

St Mary’s Church
Mr Peter Dixon introduced a small group of people to the bells of St Mary’s and demonstrated how to make them ring.
